Choosing a tinter is easier once you know what is actually going onto the glass. Kepler's part is the film itself; independent installers quote, schedule and carry out the work, and they own the relationship with you from there. If you approach a shop yourself, ask whether they can source and install Kepler film, and ask which exact film and shade they intend to use. Visible light transmission only describes how much light passes through, so two films at the same shade can behave very differently in the sun.

Everything starts in the factory, where Kepler films are produced to a consistent specification so an installer knows what to expect from one roll to the next.
