Kepler Window Film

Kepler's business is the film itself. The automotive ranges are nano-ceramic: Kepler IR for heat and glare control, and Kepler IR+ built without dyes or metals, so there is nothing to fade and no metallic layer between your phone and the world outside. Each comes in several shades, from a lighter everyday tint down to a limo black. The architectural range is a separate line of seven films for homes and commercial buildings, running from neutral heat control through frosted and blackout finishes to K-Shield, an 8 mil safety and security film made to help hold shattered glass together.

Kepler doesn't tint cars or fit glass. What we do is put the film in the hands of the businesses that do. Send a quote request from this page and it goes to an independent local tinter, who talks to you directly about the film, the shade and the price. Warranty claims run the same way: you go back to the company that installed the film, and it brings the claim to Kepler. That keeps one business responsible for your glass, from the first conversation to any question long afterwards.

Across the 1900 to 2020 record, Texas has averaged about twenty days a year at 100°F or hotter, with single years ranging from four such days to sixty-seven. Heat like that is the reason to read the infrared line of a specification rather than judge a film by how dark it looks: Kepler IR+ is published at up to 98% infrared heat rejection, with the darkest shades at the top of that range. Shade is a legal question here as well, because Texas measures a front side window with the film on the original glass, and the two together have to let at least 25% of light through. Ask a local tinter whether they carry Kepler film or can get it.
