The automotive side of the range is ceramic. Kepler IR and Kepler IR+ each come in a set of shades, so the look of the glass and the amount of heat the film keeps out can be matched to the car. Choosing a Shade in Alabama

Shade is usually the longest decision, and Alabama sets limits on it. For passenger cars and station wagons, ALEA requires side and rear tinting to let at least 32% of light through, with a 3% tolerance, and allows tint on only the upper six inches of the windshield. The Film and the Warranty Behind It

Both sides of the range carry cover on the film itself, not on the fitting. Automotive film is protected against manufacturing defects such as adhesive failure, delamination, persistent bubbling and cracking for as long as the original named customer owns the vehicle, and that cover does not transfer with the car. Architectural film carries a 10-year limited warranty for the original purchaser. Claims go through the dealer who fitted the film, so keep your warranty card and dated invoice safe.
